Replacing my HDD and running games on an SSD
Here are the sound clips (YouTube was being stubborn) So, what this shows is that the sound only shows up when there's an intensive amount of work put on the CPU/GPU. Therefore, whenever WoW is minimized the weird sound isn't present. As for the background (Max Foreground FPS) FPS count, I've set it to only get a maximum of 8 FPS. When the application window is open, and in front, the FPS is around a 100 normally. To further support this I've used WoW as an example. The noise starts as soon as the game loads into something that I believe is putting some strain on the CPU and GPU. Whenever I open a video game, be it something like Battlefield 4/1 or World of Warcraft, there is a 'screeching' white noise-ish sound that consistently emanates from my PC. I've been facing an issue with my PC for the past couple of months now. I do hope I'm posting this in the correct forum.
